The Background

HP Music was introduced to Bluestone through EHKO, a highly respected Pro Audio solutions provider and a valued introducing partner of Bluestone. Based in Hampshire, HP Music is an established commercial music studio owned and managed by multi-award-winning engineer and producer Harrison Perks. The studio complex features three state-of-the-art studios and offers additional services, including artist PR and development, to help clients successfully reach their target audiences.

The Challenge

Harrison wanted to invest in cutting-edge equipment to ensure his clients had access to the latest and most desirable production tools. However, high-quality audio technology comes at a significant cost. While budget is always a consideration, Harrison was determined not to compromise on these essential tools, as having state-of-the-art equipment is a key draw for potential clients.

The Solution

EHKO worked with Harrison to design and configure the new studio setup, ensuring that the acoustics remained uncompromised despite the upgrades. As the project evolved and grew beyond its initial scope, Bluestone worked with the funder to secure the necessary financing, allowing the full project to move forward without limitations.

"We explored commercial loans, Finance Leases and Hire Purchase agreements. In the end Harrison opted for a Finance Lease as HP agreements require the VAT to be paid upfront and this wasn't ideal for their cashflow.
