Pro FS is a long-established family-owned business with an innovative and professional outlook. They provide technology driven fulfilment solutions to e-commerce retailers, partnering with them over the long term to support their brand reputation and business growth objectives.
With the expansion of their business, Pro FS moved to a 120,000sq ft warehouse facility in Milton Keynes to create a platform for future growth. Their warehouse is a brand-new Grade A facility in the Golden Triangle for logistics, with excellent sustainability credentials, located in a beautiful lakeside setting.
The facility was a blank canvas and required a full fit-out, including the installation of offices, staff canteen and relaxation areas, warehouse installations and facilities, MHE, racking and robotics.
The vision was to create a cutting-edge and efficient operation for future expansion and a comfortable & welcoming workspace for their employees – all designed to ensure everyone could enjoy the amazing views!
Pro FS looked to Bluestone to partner with and support them with financing, to supplement their own significant investment in this project and maximise tax efficiency.
After speaking with Bluestone’s interiors specialists, ProFS decided to utilise a blend of Hire Purchase & Finance Lease agreements for the funding it sought, allowing them to spread the cost of the finance over a period of time and for a fixed rate. In addition to that, they maximised the tax benefits available to them across different aspects of the project.
Using a finance option for part of their fit-out has allowed them to maintain cash within the business for use in further investments and growth, whilst achieving their overall vision out the outset.
