Confirm that your email address is correct

Firstly, you’ll need to confirm the business email address that the documents will be sent to is correct. Note: We are not able to accept web-based email address domains such as hotmail, gmail, btinternet etc.

Verification

You will receive a text message from our third-party provider Lexis Nexis. This text/ email will contain a link to perform your identity verification check. Before proceeding, ensure you have your identification document to hand as this will be required. Click the link.

  1. You will now be directed to our third-party LexisNexis. Here, you will complete the steps to enable the AML & KYC checks to be completed. Click Start.
  2. You will now require your identify document; follow the on screen instructions and click continue.
  3. You will now be asked to take a photo of your documentation. If the document is a driving license, please ensure you capture the front and back of the ID. Once captured, you will be shown a preview of the document to ensure you’re happy before proceeding.
  4. You will now be presented with the information that has been captured from the ID uploaded. Please ensure this is all correct before proceeding and click Next.
  5. You will now be asked to take a selfie to be able to verify against your ID. Once you are ready, click start and follow the on screen prompts to ensure your face is captured. You will be shown a preview of your ID photo and the selfie taken. If this is okay, click Proceed.
  6. The verification steps have now been completed and submitted. To fulfil our compliance checks under the Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements the information will be used to perform the identity and credit check. Once you return to portal, the status of the verification process will display as complete.

ID & Proof of Address

Your ID and proof of address will have been captured and completed during the verification checks. However, if the lender needs copies of this information for other purposes (such as for guarantee or acceptance conditions) you may be asked to provide:

  • Photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport.)
  • Proof of address (utility bill: gas, electric, landline telephone, annual water bill or council tax bill for the current year only, or; bank/building society statements (no letters) or a drivers license if this isn’t already being used a proof of your ID.)

Signing E-Sign Documents

Once you receive your e-sign documents, you'll be able to:

1. Open the E-Signature document, review it and then close it.

2. Open the E-Signature document and sign it.

3. Open the E-Signature document and cancel it.

Once the E-Sign document has been received by us

Once you have e-signed your documents and sent them back to Bluestone via Adobe Sign, we will check that all mandatary fields have been completed by the correct signatory. Bluestone will refer to you if any information is missing or required. Note: Adobe Sign will not allow a document to be returned to Bluestone without all required fields being completed.
