Nicola is our indispensable Head of Operations based in our head office in Wakefield. With over 25 years of experience and her incredible team of credit managers and business management executives, Nicola is constantly working to streamline our internal processes and improve our service at every opportunity.
Starting with us as an office junior straight after completing her A-levels, Nicola has spent her entire career helping to build the industry-leading, service-led company that we have today. Nicola carries a wealth of experience around all aspects of commercial finance and (as she’s always approachable and supportive) is the office’s go-to person when it comes to the complexities of commercial finance.
Nicola grew up in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. At school Nicola enjoyed learning new languages and loved sport, so it makes sense that her childhood ambition was to become either a professional tennis player or a librarian.
When not at work Nicola spends time with her family taking bike rides and enjoying a pub lunch. Throw in some drinks with friends and a spot of cricket training, and you’ve planned Nicola’s perfect weekend.
