Sophie is our Systems, Training and Compliance Officer and has been with Bluestone for almost nine years.
In her day-to-day role, you’ll find Sophie providing training on the Bluestone systems and supporting everyone with any compliance needs. A lot of Sophie’s role involves the back workings of Bluestone, including ensuring the company is in line with regulations.

Sophie grew up in Wakefield and spent a lot of her time with friends.
“Come rain or shine I would be out. From a young age I was obsessed with playing pool.”
Although Sophie had dreams of becoming a paramedic when she grew up, she started her career as a Wacky Warehouse Member before moving into roles in the hospitality, medical and finance industries.
“The most important non-academic lesson I learned in school was that all that’s asked is for you to try and it’s something I try and remember in my everyday life.”
