Ryan joined Bluestone almost nine years ago after working in multiple industries such as fitness and leisure, steel fabrication and facilities management. Joining as Trainee Accounts Junior, Ryan has worked his way up to ManagementAccountant.
Ryan is complimented on the fact that the work he does is always thorough and that he always makes time to help someone, whether it’s a question about accounts, an issue with their computer or an excel sheet.
On a typical day at work, Ryan helps customers and partners in any way he can. In most cases his discussion with someone who has taken over the management of the contract and calls in to get a better understanding of the agreement terms – he also helps with End of Lease.

Ryan grew up in Ossett playing rugby, Xbox and outside with his friends. His earliest memory is of him and his brother walking down the stairs together with his parents at the bottom filming them whilst they looked through the banister and saw that Santa had been.
“No, this wasn’t last year…”
His favourite subject as school was anything that his friends were also in.
“It could be the most boring lesson but if your friends were in there, you would have the best time. I also liked P.E and enjoyed Maths and Science. The most academic lesson I learnt at school was to treat everyone in the same way that you would want to be treated.
When he’s not doing any DIY (which he is surprisingly good at), Ryan likes to spend his weekends with his other half walking the dog, playing golf, having a Sunday dinner and getting a well-deserved lay in.
Ryan’s life motto is, “You can’t control everything life throws at you but you can control with how you deal with it.”
If he could meet one person, it would be Steve Irwin.
“Legend, great guy, loved animals and nature, treat everyone with respect. I would’ve loved to have met him. RIP.”
